Telangana Telugu Desam Party leaders are crying foul over Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao holding late-night parleys with the Congress leaders from the region, despite the fact that the Congress high command had totally ignored the Telangana statehood demand.
“We have been saying right from the beginning that KCR had a secret understanding with the Congress. His nephew T Harish Rao meets PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana secretly in Medak, while KCR meets Jana Reddy in Hyderabad. Everybody knows how Jana Reddy betrayed the Telangana cause for the sake of berth in the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet,” Telangana TDP leader Kadiam Srihari alleged.
He wondered how KCR could hold discussions with the Telangana Congress leaders who were not willing to give up their posts.
“He demands the resignation of Telangana TDP legislators; why is he not demanding the same from the Congress MLAs,” Srihari asked.
