Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao, who is known for his monarchic attitude, is believed to have decided to give up his attitude and join hands with all the like-minded political parties.
At the TRS extended executive committee meeting held at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, KCR reportedly talked about unification of like-minded Telangana groups and putting up a united fight for achieving statehood to the region. He told the meeting that some Telangana MPs had spoken to him in the recent past and came up with a suggestion on consolidating all the Telangana forces.
“Prof Jayashankar was also advocating the need to bring all the Telangana forces on to one platform. I am ready to attend their meetings and invite them to our meetings,” he said.
Several leaders at the meeting felt that the Telangana political JAC be strengthened with all the like-minded parties under one umbrella. They asked KCR to take the lead in this regard.
